Description
The Sonoran Desert surrounding Tucson, Arizona has five seasons. Two of them are summers; dry summer (hopefully) followed by wet summer, also known as the Monsoon. Here, at the height of dry summer the day's end is marked by a peaceful, serenely colorful sunset. The mountains in the distance are the Waterman Mountains, along with the Silverbell Mountains to the right, located northwest of Tucson. This is the view from behind the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum in the Tucson Mountains west of the city.
This landscape mural is part of my "West By Southwest - An American Mural Project" collection. Like all of the others in the collection it is formatted in the 3:5 ratio for mural sized presentation on large walls, corridors, meeting rooms or other open interior spaces, and are available in the 20" x 12", 24" x 14.375", 30" x 18", 40" x 24", 48" x 28.75", and 60" x 36" sizes, plus 72" X 43.25" as a massive wall mural with astonishing clarity.
