"Bridge in the Garden"

This is the totally lovely Gibbs Garden
in north Georgia.
The gardens covers acres
and acres of land
and is a showpiece of Oriental
and flowering gardens.
There are many ponds and streams
and this is one of them
at the edge of the Japanese garden.
The small lake reflects
the most beautiful little green bridge.
Lily pads float
on the surface
of the shallow lake.
The red Japanese Maples
are reflected in the pond
and there are flowers everywhere.
This was captured in the Spring
when many iris and daffodils
were blooming
and the grass was so lush and green.
The trees were also in bloom
which made for a
paradise for photographers!
