Description
The setting sun blazes through a thin veil of rain during a late afternoon summer monsoon storm northwest of Tucson, Arizona. Many thunderstorms were in the area with plentiful lightning, but when I saw the sun descend under the cloud and shine through the falling rain, I immediately concentrated on capturing the vivid colors reflected by the rain and the distant Waterman Mountains.
This scene was photographed from the Tucson Mountains and Saguaro National Park west of Tucson, Arizona, while the Waterman Mountains are within Ironwood Forest National Monument It was a scene with color surpassing anything I had witnessed from this location before.
"Desert Summer Sunset Vista" is formatted in the 1:2 ratio vista size for where beautiful, bold and colorful landscape art is desired to satisfy a demanding interior design requirement such as a hallway, corridor, meeting room or large interior space. This photograph can be obtained in lengths of up to 8 feet with brilliant color and remarkable clarity. It can be found in my American Landscape Vistas collection, along with my Sunset Vistas collection.
